Exotic food products

In Mexico, the Ministry of Agriculture (SAGARPA) has identified more than 180 exotic products which are being grown in more than 350,000 hectares.

The exotic farm products are characterized by a huge commercial perspective which is being developed to reach specific niche market not only in the domestic but also in the international market.

The most important are:

Exotic fruits, berries, nuts, vegetables, root crops, spices, oil seeds, beverages, wines and liquors, aromatic herbs, specialties vegetables, cereals, exotic animals and cactus. There are also non edible products like natural fibers and pigments, medical plants, tropical flowers, foliages, and handcrafts.

 
 

Expo Objectives

To encourage the commercial promotion of organic and exotic food products in the domestic and the international markets, as an important strategy that creates new business opportunities for Mexican growers with the international buyers.

Exhibition area 10:00 am – 8:00 pm

  • Around to 400 exhibition booths in more than 23,000 sq. ft.
  • 650 exhibiting producers from all around México.
  • More than 350 fresh or processed organic and exotic products.
  • More than 27 thousand expected visitors.
 
 

Specialized booths

6 specialized booths for each product:

  • Beverages, wines, and liquors.
  • Mexican confectionery.
  • Hot sauces, hot pepper preparations.
  • Cactus leaves, cactus pears and its by-products.
  • Organic coffee.
  • Organic fruits and vegetables.

Business center / Match making 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Like every year, we expecting international enterprises from USA, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, and important national companies will gather in business meetings.
